Urgent Media Alert!

Laura White, stormchaser.com media office: April 2004.

In recent months, we have received numerous media, public and law enforcement inquiries (and complaints) reference individuals or groups falsely identifying themselves as storm chasing scientists, media, researchers, disaster rescuers, etc. The goal of these individuals is to mislead the media or law enforcement for various purposes. We caution all media and editorial sources to thoroughly investigate an individuals background and actual employment before committing to interviews.
